Palate

It is elegant, fleshiness, concentrated, with noble tannins and distinguished character.

Growing Conditions

Own vineyards located in Gualtallary, Tupungato, Valle de Uco, Mendoza, between 1600 meters (5250 feet) and 1800 meters (5910 feet) above sea level, at the foot of the Andes Mountains.

High Trellis conduction system and drip irrigation.

Yield: 55 qq (5500 Kgs) /ha.

Winemaking

Great agronomic dedication to obtain healthy grapes and optimal oenological maturity. Once the grape bunches are chosen, they are sent in boxes to the winery. Careful removal of the stalk and the whole grapes are sent to small stainless steel tanks. The alcoholic fermentation of the two varieties of this blend is carried out separately. Addition of selected yeasts and control temperatures between 28 and 30 ºC. Maceration time with grape skins: 30 days. Aging in French oak barrels for 18 months where the final blend is subsequently made, respecting the percentage of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.
