Growing Conditions

Located in Gualtallary, Tupungato, Valle de Uco, Mendoza, between 1500 meters (4930 feet) and 1800 meters (5910 feet) above sea level, at the foot of the Andes Mountains.
Trellis conduction system and drip irrigation. Yield: 60 qq (6000 Kgs) /ha.

Harvest

Manual harvest in late March and early April

Winemaking

The grape bunches are chosen at their optimum grade of ripeness,
placing them in plastic boxes for transport to the winery.
Elimination of the stalks and sending the whole grains to small
stainless steel tanks. Separately vinification of the grapes varieties
that make up this great wine. Alcoholic fermentation adding
selected yeasts and temperature control between 27 and 29ºC.
Maceration time with the grape skins: 28 days. Elimination by
racking of the coarse lees and aging in French oak barrels for 14
months. Before bottling, the wines are blended. 50% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot.

14 months in French oak barrels.

Appearance

Intense and bright red with violet tones.
