Nose

Great aromatic complexity, with a lot of ripe red and black fruits as well as jams. A bit of spices and a very elegant and well-integrated oak.

Palate

Sweet entry on the palate, fine textured tannins, very structured and persistent.

Winemaking

Alcoholic fermentation done daily by delestages and tampering. The total maceration takes 20 days. The Malolactic fermentation is spontaneous.

Aging

The wine spends 24 months in new French oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle.

Appearance

Intense dark red.

Food Pairing

Ideal for special dinners, where the main dish is meat, which can be either beef, duck or lamb. It also pairs well with braised pig or a goat.
