Nose
Intense red fruit jam aroma, hints of eucalyptus and cedar, and some spice.
Palate
The first taste is sweet, ripe tannins and excellent lubricity. It has a long, lingering finish.

Winemaking
In stainless steel tanks. Pre fermentative cold maceration for 3 days. Fermentation with indigenous yeast. During this stage it undergoes daily pump overs and delestages. The total maceration time is between 20 and 25 days at a maximum temperature of 30º-31°. The end of maceration is determined by the tasting. The Malolactic fermentation is spontaneous.
Aging
100% of the wine spent 12 months in French oak barrels.
Appearance
Ruby red color with violet hues.

Ideal with grilled meats, duck, lamb and well aged cheeses.
