Nose

Spiced-plum, black-cherry, clove and lavender. Dried herbs.

Palate

Complex, medium bodied with silky tannins. Persistent, fruity-forward and lightly saline finish

Harvest

In 2018 Finca Flichman achieved its record harvest of the last 20 years. Our yields increased 92 % compared to harvest 2017, and not only was a memorable one in terms of quantities but also in quality. Despite of some rains during spring, the rest of the season was perfect to gain excellent grape quality.

Aging

The wine spends 12 months in 500lt/2000lt first and second use oak casks followed by 8 month of bottle aging.

Appearance

Intense ruby red with garnet hints.

Food Pairing

Smoked gouda cheese / Funghi risotto / Lamb with aromatic herbs and spices.
