Named after a historic neighbourhood in Mendoza where clay amphorae were manufactured in the 19th century, the Carrascal line reflects the joviality and power of Mendoza fruit. A 100% Malbec from vineyards of Lujan de Cuyo of 15-50 years of age. Its ageing process of 18 months in large french oak casks which vary between 2000 - 6000 litres in capacity add earthiness to its typical ripe plums, dark cherries and violet notes. A perfect gaucho wine for roasted beef and vegetables.

Made from selected vineyards of 70-110 years of age within the region of Lujan de Cuyo, Weinert Malbec outstands by its bright ruby colour and aromatic depth dominated by dried red fruits, cedary notes and licorice. It's ageing and harmonization in large French oak casks gives it's distinctive character, backed by Weinert's reputation of classic mature vintages.
