Carrascal is a neighbourhood in Mendoza were Agustinian monks produced clay amphorae for the transportation of wine between the 18th and 19th Century. A 100% varietal Chardonnay is fresh and zesty, with a combination of medium richness in the palate with hints of white flowers and a creamy structure. It is a perfect pairing for cured salmon, seafood dishes and pasta with creamy sauces with softer cheeses and platters of raw vegetables.

Its ageing process of 18 months in large french oak casks which vary between 2000 - 6000 litres in capacity add earthiness to its typical ripe plums, dark cherries and violet notes. A perfect gaucho wine for roasted beef and vegetables.
