Growing Conditions
2019 was characterized by a very dry cycle with precipitations reaching 50% less than average registrations, leading to smaller berries and lower yields due to the hydric stress. Within the traditional regions of Lujan de Cuyo, cooler temperatures led to fresh acidity levels and very elegant white flowers and fresh tropical fruit expression.
Harvest
Manual harvest and selection at the vineyard site. Grapes are transported to the winery in 20kg plastic cases, crushed and pressed immediately upon arrival.
Winemaking
Traditional alcoholic fermentation in cement vats temperature controlled at 14-16C between 15-20 days with acacia staves. Malolactic fermentation at a minimum of 50%.
