Growing Conditions
Vine age: From 15-60 years old. Vineyards selected for Carrascal Corte Tinto are situated in Lujan de Cuyo and Maipu, within the subregions of Perdriel, Ugarteche, El Carrizal.
For the 2018 vintage, temperatures registered when reaching the harvesting months of March and April were cooler than the historic average. Combined with a lower rainfall of approximately 30%, led to optimal balance between the fruit expression and natural acidity. A year of great aromatic complexity and smooth tannins.
