Bodega Weinert

This special edition combines 11 vintages between 2004 and 2017 that we kept in oak casks especially for our 40th anniversary.

Seeking to enhance the typicity of each grape variety, Weinert's Varietal line is a pioneer in combining the quality of Argentina's terroir and classic style. Weinert Merlot is an expression of Lujan de Cuyo's older vines and terroir, reflected on the earthy and deep aromatic complexity combined with terciary notes of black tea leaves and thymes notes given by it's ageing in large French oak casks.

Carrascal is a neighbourhood in Mendoza were Agustinian monks produced clay amphorae for the transportation of wine between the 18th and 19th Century. A 100% varietal Chardonnay is fresh and zesty, with a combination of medium richness in the palate with hints of white flowers and a creamy structure. It is a perfect pairing for cured salmon, seafood dishes and pasta with creamy sauces with softer cheeses and platters of raw vegetables.

Montfleury wines are an expression of the many fabulous regions of the Uco Valley. Reflecting our quest to produce wines true to their terroir, this line conveys the brightness and purity of Gualtallary ́s soil, where juicy and fresh fruit meets minerality and a crispy acidity.

Named after a historic neighbourhood in Mendoza where clay amphorae were manufactured in the 19th century, the Carrascal line reflects the joviality and power of Mendoza fruit. A 100% Malbec from vineyards of Lujan de Cuyo of 15-50 years of age. Its ageing process of 18 months in large french oak casks which vary between 2000 - 6000 litres in capacity add earthiness to its typical ripe plums, dark cherries and violet notes. A perfect gaucho wine for roasted beef and vegetables.

Made from selected vineyards of 70-110 years of age within the region of Lujan de Cuyo, Weinert Malbec outstands by its bright ruby colour and aromatic depth dominated by dried red fruits, cedary notes and licorice. It's ageing and harmonization in large French oak casks gives it's distinctive character, backed by Weinert's reputation of classic mature vintages.
