Nose

A fruity fine and aromatic malbec. It has fruits like blackcurrant, prune, flowers (violets), and chocolate.

Palate

It's deep with grip and aromatic tannins but round and gentle.

Growing Conditions


SITUATION: RAMA CAIDA is in San Rafael in the south of the province of Mendoza. SOIL: As a part of alluvial sediment from Diamante river creating terrasses. Rich in Clay, Limestone, marga and sand.
VINEYARD: 30 years old, planted in row high density.

Harvest

Harvested in 20 Kg cases.

Bottling

bottling at 20 months without filtration.

Winemaking

Harvested in cases by hand. Double selection. In the winery worked per gravity (without pomp). Non destemmed 30%. Fermentation in 25 days in concrete vats. Racked and pneumatic pressing. Malolactic fermentation systematic.

Aging

12months in French oak 225 L Barrel.

Appearance

It is clean, color black to red bright.

Food Pairing

BBQ. Entrecôte sauce poivre. Mousse au chocolat.
