Nose
"Expressive, with penetrating aromas of herbs and fruits such as cherries, berries
and ripe black plums. Some spicy notes appear from its oak aging. Very elegant."
Palate
Full-bodied and juicy red wine. Rich and complex with notes of red and black fruits, herbs, and spices. Sweet and round tannins define a fruity and persistent aftertaste.
Growing Conditions
This wine is made with grapes sourced from external grape growers located mainly in the Primera Zona. Influenced by the winds descending from the Andes Mountains and given its lower altitude, this region is one of the coolest areas in Argentine viticulture and often suffers from late frosts during bud break. These conditions also favor great thermal amplitude. Most of the vineyards are old and traditionally irrigated, with relatively heavy and deep loamy soils.
