Casa de Uco
A brief history
Casa de Uco Wines
A blend of time and space. A blend between the fruit of harvests and the winemaker’s creativity. This is the profound spirit of Casa de Uco: a passion for what makes us special.
A complex wine, born in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, in millenary soils, ideal for growing high-quality grapes. Blend of rocky soils that define what we consider to be the most authentic expression of our terroir.
Salvaje embodies Malbec in its most natural form. An expressive wine that comes from the unique terroir in the Uco Valley, Mendoza fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete pools.
This wine is the essence of freshness, both in the nose and in the mouth. A white wine with a strong acidity, fruity in the mouth that represents the Torrontés, a particular structure of Chardonnay, and fermentation and ageing of Sauvignon Blanc.
From El Salvaje family, a new Pinot Gris member arrives: authentic, unfiltered, and organic by ideology. We want to show that using the same grape, we can make three totally different wines. Rosado de Gris, is our rose wine expression of Pinot Gris.
Inspired by ancestral methods, the orange character is given by its oxidative elaboration process and its subsequent aging in a french oak barrel. The orange character is caused by the contact of the wine with the skins of the grapes.
