Nose

There is great aromatic complexity, with notes of plum, raspberry, strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, and tobacco.

Palate

The wine has good balance and volume, its structure benefitting from firm yet silky tannins.

Winemaking

Sun-drenched days and chilly nights in Antigal’s finest and highest-lying vineyard allowed the Malbec grapes used for this limited edition single-parcel wine to ripen slowly, intensifying color and aromas. Minimal handling and cold temperature winemaking at our winery protected the integrity of the fruit. After 22 months of oak aging, the wine was poured into uniquely designed, individually numbered bottles.

Food Pairing

Intensely flavored meats such as wild boar, goat, lamb, kid, slow cooking stews, hard-paste cheeses, and defined flavors, roasted vegetables. It is also an excellent companion for good chocolate or for those who enjoy cigars.
