Nose
The nose with concentrated spice Malbec fragances and ripe blackberry Malbec flavours. Barrel aging adds notes of vainilla and tobacco making this wine very elegant.
Palate
Fruity, sweet, complex spice , oak and a long finish . round, soft tannins.
Growing Conditions
Mendoza Aluvial origin with clay topsoil,.
Small cool and Little rainy vintage 2014, vintage classically Mendozan: dry, cool, sunny and with moderate yields in every region from the lowest to the highest altitudes.
Summer 2013 started out warm but then cooled off during the 2014 harvest months, March and April. Some lower rainfall, gave rise to optimal balance in the fruit, acidity, aromatic malbec expression and smooth tannins.
Winemaking
Fermentation for 23 days. , maceration. MAlolactic fermentation complete
Max. Fermentation for 24 days.temperature controled. 5 days maceration.Malolactic fermentation completed .
Aging
Aging 20 months in French oak barrels (50% new)
