Finca La Escarcha was born as a family project in 2004.
The property was acquired in a wild country state, without any type of cultivation, after having been abandoned for more than 30 years. Despite an arduous weeding task, the natural topography of the land was maintained with its unevenness and undulations that distinguish it from its surroundings. Located in La Arboleda, Tupungato at about 1,000 meters above sea level.
The irrigation of the farm is by drip system; Through the existing perforations from which the purest water is extracted from the Andes mountain range at an altitude of more than 5,000 meters, naturally filtered between the rocks.
Finca La Escarcha has a spring water well with thermal characteristics that reaches a temperature of 30 ° C.
~ THE VINEYARD ~
Our CULTIVATED SURFACE extends to 26 hectares. in which we count
with varieties such as Chardonnay, Viognier, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot.
The type of DRIVING used is low trellis with double cord
Royat or Pythone Cord.
Our IRRIGATION System is by drip and protection with anti-hail mesh type
Grembiule.
The type of SOIL is sandy loam, with deep drainage which
allows plant health and also achieving good
depth of its roots.

Selecting the best rows in our vineyard based in the study of the soil and the vines, with calcareous and sandy soil composition.
Winemaking
Fermentation in concrete eggs at 25-30 °C , 12-18 days maceration.
Acidity: 6.37 g/l
Aging: 16 month in French oak barrel
