The scent of white fruits and minerals is enhanced by an elegant herbal touch.

Growing Conditions

At 3111 meters, the weather conditions are extreme, with late frosts in spring and early ones in autumn. therefore, we plant varieties with short cycle such as Sauvignon Blanc, as exposure is a key factor to achieve a well-ripened fruit while keeping its freshness.

Sauvignon Blanc is the white variety that best adapts itself to the extreme conditions of Altura Máxima: it sprouts after the late frosts in spring and ripens before the early frosts in autumn.

The moderate daytime temperatures, below 30°C, and the wide temperature range, more than 20 degrees diference between day and night, allow the wine to preserve an excellent natural acidity.

The poor and stony soil produces a very high quality and sophisticated grape.
