Nose

Red cherries, earthy and herbal, with notes of black tea and tomato leaves.

Palate

Elegant and balanced, juicy red currant and cherry notes. Long with round and smooth tannins.

Growing Conditions

Temperatures in 2022 were within the average range for Mendoza, whilst the annual rainfall was slightly higher than average. Overall, it was a very interesting harvest for whites and a beautiful one for reds.

Bottling

June 2023.

Winemaking

Fermentation took place in concrete vats, after MLF the blend was made, then 40% was racked into used French oak barrels for 12 months, and the remaining wine stayed in concrete until final blending and bottling.

Aging

40% of the wine for 12 months in neutral French oak barrels, the rest remains in concrete vats.

Appearance

Bright ruby red color, light and vibrant.

Food Pairing

Most Italian dishes, but due to its round but present tannins along with its medium body weight, will feel comfortable with all kind of meats, stews and even tomato sauces.
