Piantao comes from the special fermentation and development of a Cabernet Franc from Tupungato. It failed initially to reveal its true potencial, but on reaching its destination it turned into the "crazy guy" that ended up teaching us the very essence of who he wanted to be. This dream of a wine is a blend of Cabernet Franc 70%, Malbec 20%, Merlot 10% from different barrels. After taking an unexpected course, it finally turned into a treasure. And that is the origin of "Piantao, Piantao, Piantao..." in the words of the tango "Balada para un loco".

Field Blend, is a unique, complex and distinctive wine. It is born from the vineyard's own formation. The plantations of both varieties, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, are mixed in the same lot, so their grapes are harvested, ground and fermented together to finish with a two-year aging in French oak barrels.. It has a bright deep red color. On the nose it is of great depth and complexity due to its long aging. On the palate it has softer and more refined tannins, a wine of great elegance.
