Viña Cobos is the inspired vision of Paul Hobbs, who one day undertook the challenge of crafting world-class wines on a level never before achieved in Argentina.

Over the past twenty years, winemaker Paul Hobbs and his team at Viña Cobos have dedicated themselves to seek out, study, and develop vineyard sites in the two premier growing regions of Mendoza: Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco. Through meticulous vineyard management and minimal intervention in the winemaking process, the wines express the true essence of their terroir with finesse, complexity, and authenticity. Since the first vintage release in 1999, Viña Cobos has pushed the boundaries of quality for malbec and for Argentina, striving to continuously set the standard for excellence in the region.

Deep ruby red. On the nose, aromas of forest fruits are complemented with by spicy notes. The flavors on the palate and concentrated, supported by firm tannins that indicate maturity and balance.

Intense yellow with green tones. Aromatically, it is fresh and austere, with aromas of honeysuckle, orange blossoms and green tea hints. On the palate, it is rich, chalky and focus.

Light yellow with greenish reflections. Fresh in the notes, presents mineral notes. Its aromas recall green apple, apricot, white flowers and hazelnut. On the palate it is balanced, with good acidity, great richness and a long finifh.


Deep red color. Vibrant aromas of black and blue fruits compliment the cassis and black pepper spice. On the palate the wine is juicy and energetic, great texture with round tannins and a long, persistent finish.

Delicate ruby red. It is pure and complex in the nose, witha aromas that remember raspberries, huckleberries and herbal hints; combined with cinnamon and cigar box notes. The palate is balanced and elegant, fine grain tannins and minaral texture. The finish is long and subtle.

Intense purplish red color. Aromas of ripe red and black fruit with hints of nuts. On the palate, it delights with its concentration and sweet tannins that allow to enjoy this wine in any circumstance.

Light yellow color. On the nose is complex, elegant and boasts aromas of green apple, pear and hints of white chocolate. The mouthfeel is tense, mineral, with a nice structure and long finish.

Intense violet red in color. On the nose it is aromatic, with spicy aromas. t shows notes of black tea, red and black fruits with earthy touches. In the mouth it is balanced, elegant fine-grained and marked minerality.

Deep purple red. Spicy, fruity and complex character. Beautiful scents of fresh red berries with hints of violets combined with baking spices notes. Vibrant acidity and elegant mid-palate with silky texture.

Ruby red with purple tones. The nose is very harmonious with scents of red fruit such as fresh plums and cherries, rose petals and sweet spiced notes, The palate is elegant, delicate with smooth tannins.

Deep purple red with black tones. Spiced and mineral character. Scents of blue fruits and figs mixed with spiced notes. Aromas reminiscent of cinnamon, cloves, wild thyme and fresh tobacco. On the palate, it shows intensity and energy, with muscular and textural tannins.

Its color is deep red with violet reflections. The nose presents a mixture of aromas of menthol, wild herbs and fresh fruits such as blueberries and figs. In the mouth it is very balanced, with good structure, great energy, noticeable tannins and vibrant.

Red Blend

Elegant and complex, it shows a deep ruby red color. On the nose, it shows aromas of red fruits, black pepper and notes of blond tobacco. Full bodied, it is round, intense and presents soft tannins.

Intense violet red with black tones. Spicy and mineral. Aromas of blue fruits and figs mixed with spices. Notes reminiscent of cinnamon, cloves, wild thyme and fresh tobacco. In the mouth is intense, muscular, textured and energetic.

Intense ruby red with black tones. Of great aromatic purity, attractive and vivacious. Highlights notes of cherry and fresh plumb , with subtle floral notes reminiscent of roses. The palate is round and wide, with sweet tannins. Persistent finish.

Deep violet red color with black tones. In nose, it is complex, combining black fruit, spices and graphite. With highlights of blue fruits and Andean herbs such as jarilla and wild thyme. In the mouth it presents an elegant entrance, with tannins, velvety and long finish.

Bright ruby red with a complex and elegant nose. This is the first time we have included Cabernet Franc in the blend for Volturno, which has added complex notes of powdery tannins and pink peppercorns. A bold, full-bodied wine with a vibrant mouthfeel, elegant mineral backbone, and an exceptionally balanced finish.

Intense ruby red. It has a very elegant, fresh nose, with aromas of red fruit like cherries and raspberries, and spicy notes reminiscent of white pepper. The palate is complex and concentrated, with firm tannins and juicy texture.

Deep ruby red color. Fruity, spicy and elegant character. Notes of blueberries, fresh plums, dark chocolate, and sweet spices. Full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins. Long persistency.

Deep ruby red color with purple tones. Expressive, balanced and exquisite. On the nose, scents of roses and violets, ripe red fruit, figs, white pepper and clove. On the palate, the wine is delicate with ripe and silky tannins. Extremely elegant finish.

It shows an intense ruby red color with black tones. Has a complex and elegant nose. Aromas of ripe red fruit, and sweet spices like licorice and dark chocolate. Graphite, gunpowder, and black pepper notes. Subtle aroma of red bell pepper. On the palate the wine is intense, round with a mineral texture. Exceptionally balanced and persistent.

Yellow with green tones. On the nose it presents notes of white pears, green apple, orange blossoms and white flowers. T is balanced, of good acidity, with great mid palate.

Bright and deep purple color. Aromas of black fruit reminiscent of fresh plum mixed with graphite notes. On the palate the wine is balanced and energetic, with sweet and round tannins and long finish.
