This wine is a blend of 50% Marsanne and 50% Roussanne all from a single vineyard in the Los Chacayes IG in the Uco Valley. The nose jumps out of the glass with notes of orange peel, apricot, candied peach, and tangerine all woven together with white flowers, lavender, and a touch of coriander. The palate shows good acidity to match the full bodied character and the wine finishes with notes of honeydew melon and just a hint of flor. Rockstar juice in a bottle!

This wine is 100% hand harvested Grenache Noir from our single vineyard in the Los Chacayes IG within the Uco Valley. The nose is vibrant showing red cherry, raspberry, sage, thyme, and black pepper that leads into a light mid palate with hints of cinnamon, brown sugar, and a sprinkle of lemon balm. A light wine with a bright finish and lingering red fruit.

This wine is 100% hand harvested Monastrell (Mouverdre) from our single vineyard in the Los Chacayes IG within the Uco Valley. The nose is bright with notes of sweet black cherry and cocoa that lead into a soft, round mid palate with hints of tobacco and dried leaves. The color is a bit darker than the 2016 but the fruit is held up by vibrant acidity and light tannin. The finish is juicy and long that begs you to have another glass. AMAZING!!

This wine is a field blend of 70% Grenache Noir, 15% Monastrell, and 15% Syrah all co-fermented. The nose is earthy and muddled with hints of blackberry and cherry luden with under notes of forest floor, fungi, tea leaf, thyme, and candied leather. The palate is juicy and lush with black fruits, currant, and fine grained tannins that lead to a light finish of clove and cinammon.

The very impressive pale red 2017 Gloria S was produced with the grapes from a massal selection from 1947, planted in gobelet in Los Chacayes at high density. It fermented with 50% full clusters for four days with indigenous yeasts at low temperature in 400-liter oak barrels and 150-liter amphorae and matured equal parts in amphorae and third and fourth use oak barrels. It has an elegant and delicate profile, from the pale color to the fragrant nose of violets and roses, wild red berries and faint spices. It's beautifully textured, with very fine chalky tannins and pungent flavors and is intense and precise, symmetric and proportioned. 2,650 bottles produced. La Dama Del Abrigo Rojo – the lady in the red cloak. Cast aside your preconceptions of Nebbiolo, good or bad, and simply think of this in the context of the amazing Ver Sacrum project (easier if you have tasted the other wines). This is the darkest of all the wines in colour, and the only one that sees any meaningful skin contact during fermentation. Thus, it is a 'bigger' wine than the others, but it still offers those same hallmarks of delicacy and refined concentration. The nose is a beguiling swirl of rose petals, meat and red fruits. The palate has a purity and directness of flavour that confounds as much as it delights. There is a distinct touch of genius / madness at play here. Trophy Winner, Best Red Wine, Wine Merchant UK Top 100 2020 (2017 vintage) ..."I found textbook Nebbiolo characteristics in the 2018 La Dama del Abrigo Rojo, a pale and somewhat evolved color, notes of dry flowers, tar and a fine thread on the palate. It was foot-trodden with full clusters and fermented in 500-liter plastic bins for 21 days, finishing in 225-liter oak barrels and matured in well-seasoned and neutral barrels for 11 months. Perhaps the highest Mencia in the world, and the only Argentinan one for now, it comes from our young vineyard in Chacayes, it fermented destemmed in concrete eggs and matured in used oak barrels for one and a half years. It follows the house style of pale and ethereal reds with a medium body and great energy and elegance. It's very drinkable, with very fine tannins, very good freshness and no oak whatsoever. Somehow, the wine has 13.2% alcohol and an incredible seven grams of acidity (tartaric), perhaps from being planted at 1,100 meters in altitude, and it has more acidity than the majority of wines produced with the grape in Spain. It also seems to be more elegant and perfumed. Only 1.800 bottles were filled in October 2019.
