Penedo Borges is located in the highest region of Agrelo, which, like an alluvial prism, can identify different soil profiles in the same vineyard. The study of these differences allows a more precise work in the vineyard, in the plant and later in the winery, being able to extract the maximum potential of each one of the varieties. The wines are faithful representations of the Agrelo terroir, which, located at 1050 meters above sea level and with great thermal amplitude between day and night, allows us to produce wines full of personality, balanced and intense.
One of the main characteristics at Penedo Borges is that we work with a single vineyard, which is located in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, at 1050 meters above sea level, at the top of what we call an alluvial prism. The exhaustive study allows us to know the different sectors precisely, the types of soils and vigor of each of the plants that make up our single vineyard, where each varietal in interaction with the soil and the climate achieves distinctive and unique characteristics The grapes that give rise to Selección de Parcelas emerge from these sectors called Parcels. Each sector is elaborated separately in small containers of 500 to 1000 liters highlighting the best of its characteristics and thus achieving a differentiation, so that after having matured in barrels for the appropriate time, it becomes part of this particular and unique Selection of Plots.

Intense ruby red color. On the nose, it presents notes of black fruits, roasted red pepper, white pepper, vanilla and mocha. Tannins well present and ripe, round in the mouth and with a nice and silky finish.
