A brief history
Gauchezco symbolizes the true essence of the traditional gaucho culture from Argentina. Located in Mendoza, Argentina; in Barrancas – Maipu, the winery is situated in the region is considered part of the "primera zona" or the "premier/first zone." Our vineyards root back until the 18th century. Founded in 1881, our average old vine age is 90 years old with some blocks that are 100 years old. In total we are a 130 hectares vineyard and fully modern operating winery.
Clasico Range: is a modern range of wines bringing great quality and elegance. It is the true expression of our vineyards in the foothills of the Andes mountains. Very fruity and fresh wines with superb balance.
Reserva Range: Guachezo Reserve is a premium range of exclusive varietals with delicate contact with oak barrels.
Gran Reserva Range - Plata:
With Aristocratic style & character, Guachezco Plata represents the conviction and imagination of the Argentine terroir. Aromatic complexity and structure, always leaving for a long and lasting finish.
Limited Edition “OLD VINE” Range – Oro:
Gauchezco Oro is produced in only the best vintages, it brings together superb elegance and intricateness,. Guachezco Oro is truly a head turner, as it delicately combines the best of Guachezco Wines and the Argentine terroir.
