A brief history
The vineyards are located in Chañarmuyo Valley, 1720 meters (5730 feet) above the sea level. That makes its climate and soil peculiarly suited to the grape growth. Its climate is semiarid and dry with a rainrate lower to 150 mm yearly. Day-Night Temperature Differences are highly significant. Summer's highest temperature is 91 F and in winter seldom freeze. The winery is located only a few meters from the vineyars and equipped with the latest French technology. Due to its close proximity to the vines, the grapes are harvested as soon as they are picked.
