Bodegas Pacheco Pereda

A brief history

The winery, surrounded by vineyard was established in 1970 in the heart of Barrancas.

Barrancas is a privileged wine producing region for being a riverbed: the Mendoza river used to flow on the terrains around the winery. The alluvial soils with boulders of the vineyards confers to the wines an exceptional concentration with intense aromatics. Vineyards are irrigated with the purest water produced by snow melting in the Andes Cordillera.

The hot days and templated night allow our grapes to reach their optimum maturity. The scare rains and strong insolation produce grapes in a perfect sanitary state. Winery uses both stainless still tanks and concrete vats; it is equipped with the last technology in crushing and winemaking.
