A brief history
Bodega Estancia Mendoza S.A. is located in the department of Tupungato, at the highlands of Mendoza. This region, well known as the Uco Valley and recognized as one of the best terroirs in the world, is a privileged place to grow vines for the elaboration of premium wines. Located at 1,100 meters above sea level, this region has rocky soils with good drainage, where crops are rustic due to the scorching summers and snowy winters, irrigated by the mineralized meltwater of The Andes.
The hot days and cool nights create the conditions for thermal amplitude to reach up to 20ºC (68°F) in a day. This combines with the constant solar radiation of the southern spring and summer, providing the ideal conditions for the development of excellent grapes, undeniable mothers of great wines.
