Bira Wines Cover Image

A brief history

BIRA was born based on the search for the family roots of two friends, both with italian origin. One from the north, the other one from the south, but both with preference for the wines of the peninsula. In that search, they came across a unique Sangiovese vineyard planted in 1975 in the Uco Valley that convinced them to carry out the idea of creating wines with Italian inspiration, but with Argentine soul, at the height of the Andes.

BIRA portfolio in Argentina is based on three blended wines, Sangiovese predominant, Tuscan-inspired style that represents the first generation of immigrants arriving to our country, as well as two other blended wines, Malbec based, that represent the first generation born in Argentina.
