A brief history
Alpamanta : “Love of the Earth” in the local native language - One of the very few certified Organic and Biodynamic projects and the first natural wine producer of Argentina - Single vineyard planted from scratch in 2005 in Ugarteche, Luján de Cuyo, the top quality Mendocinian wine area.
We consider that the wine should be the pure product of its terroir, reason why we maintain human intervention to the minimum during the vinification process. We use egg-shaped concrete tanks, indigenous yeasts, few sulfites and a natural fining process. - We use ecological packaging to reduce our carbon impact (light bottles and recycled paper)- We are certified under the very restrictive norms of DEMETER (biodynamic) and ARGENCERT (organic) Our logo is the owl, natural guardian of our vineyard and symbol of wisdom
