A brief history
Telteca, is a tribute to the Huarpes, the aboriginal people who originally inhabited the province of Mendoza, a people who knew how to honor nature in such a way that, in return, she produced her best fruit. To this day, we continue to work with our land with this same level of respect and honor. The word "Telteca" means “ripe fruit” in the language of the Huarpes. The Huarpes had in depth knowledge of the flora that inhabited the Mendoza plains, from where they obtained the fruits that helped them survive life in the desert.
